Veterinarians
In 1976 Dr Brian Sheahan joined the late Dr Don Kerr who established
the Samford practice the previous year. Brian purchased the Samford
practice in the early 1980s and since then it has been upgraded
to a modern world class veterinary hospital. Over the years Brian
has provided continuous veterinary service to family pets, horses
and farm animals in the residential and rural areas north-west of
Brisbane, including the outer suburbs of Brisbane, Pine Rivers Shire
and parts of Caboolture Shire.
The practice now employs six full-time veterinarians and three part-time veterinarians Dr Brian Sheahan, Dr Leigh Hanlon, Dr Judy Law, Dr Debbie Eagles, Dr Melanie Rope, Dr Anne McGrath, Dr Rachel James, Dr Philippa Cox and Dr Angela Willemsen. They are supported by qualified veterinary nurses and efficient
and friendly reception staff.
Each veterinarian in the practice has developed personal expertise
in a special area of interest within the art of veterinary science.
This means we are able to offer a varied range of veterinarian skills
supported by our modern hospital facility. We also have access to
veterinary specialists, in-house or on a referral basis, as required.
